G.D. (Art), Bombay; Worked in distinctly folk and neo-primitive style. Exhibitions; regularly exhibited in several important art exhibitions in India and was represented in almost all the Indian Art Exhibitions held abroad; Bombay Art Society (prize); Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta (Gold Medal); held two one-man shows in Bombay. Represented in a number of private and public collections, both in India and abroad. Exhibited with Kumar Gallery since 1956.
