Since 1927 Sculptor and Painter at Santiniketan. Exhiibition, one-man show in New Delhi 1942; participated in several major art exhibitions held at Calcutta, Delhi, Madras, Patna, Amritsar, represented in the National Exhibitions of Art; Realities Nouvelles, Paris, 1950 and 1951; Asian Art Exhibitions Tokyo; was a regular exhibitor of the India Society of Oriental Art, Calcutta. A bust of Tagore by him was presented to the Government of Hungary by the Government of India. Commissioned to execute two sculptures(24 ft. in height) for the Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi. A number of sculptures in concrete are in Santiniketan. He was formerly member of the General Council of the Lalit Kala Akademi.Member, Realities Nouvelles, Paris and Indian Sculptors Association, Bombay. He was deeply interested in the stage and music.
