(1910-1992)

He was born in 1910 in Indore, and after completing his BA from Agra University he attended the State School of Art. Between 1936 and 1939, he worked as a journalist with the Visitors Bureau Government of Kashmir. In 1940, he moved to Madras to work as an Art Director for a film company. He travelled extensively and in 1950 he joined the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda. He was awarded the Kalidas Samman by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Since 1955, he exhibited his works at the Kumar Gallery, New Delhi.
