Diploma in Fine Arts, Santiniketan. Travelled to Japan (1936) on study tour and in most parts of India on study and educational tours. Represented in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi and several other private and public collections in India and abroad; Taught fine arts for a number of years in the Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan. Formerly member of the General Council, Lalit Kala Akademi.
